What are the technological requirements for working a practice test or problem set online?
- Cookies - For non-members, we use cookies to identify you in order to retrieve your history of worked questions. In other words, when you complete a question, we store the results of that question and your unique cookie id. When you access your history of previously worked questions, we retrieve the history based upon the unique cookie id.
- JavaScript Enabled - A significant portion of the practice test's appearance and functionality is controlled by JavaScript code. We do this in order to increase the speed with which questions are delivered, thereby providing you with a better user experience. While we worked to ensure that the website is still functional for individuals who disable JavaScript or use browsers that do not support it, we strongly encourage you to enable JavaScript.
- Standards Compliant Browser (e.g., Mozilla Firefox) - The practice test uses a number of advanced web-programming techniques in order to deliver the best possible user experience. Unfortunately, some web browsers such as Internet Explorer do not interpret website code in a consistent manner. We strongly recommend using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.
